 We received Sky's school pics back today and I can't believe how fast my baby angel has grown.  Gosh - the time sure does fly by, but we have loved every minute of it!!

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY EVERYONE!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.  We hosted a small bbq with my parents and had a ton of yummy food that included burgers, hot dogs, macaroni salad, guacamole, corn on the cob, brownies and apple cake for dessert!  Kudos to my grillmaster husband because the burgers were outstanding!  I hope everyone had time to reflect on this day and appreciate all of the troops and service men who are serving our country! We thank you for keeping our families safe!!

ANNAPOLIS HARBOR TO SEE THE BOATS!

D.C. ZOO

It was beautiful 70 degree weather on Saturday so what a perfect day to head to the zoo in Washington, D.C.  We saw pandas, gorillas, elephants, lions and tigers and bears!  OH MY!!  Sky had such a good time at the zoo that she couldn't stop talking about it that evening.  Here are some pictures from the day:

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

For Mother's Day this year, we went to Fisherman's Inn across the bridge for a lovely Mother's Day lunch.  It was a great lunch and a perfect day to spend with family! I am so blessed to be the mommy of the sweetest little girl in the world AND I am so blessed to have a wonderful mother who has taught me so much!!  I hope all of the mothers out there had as great a Mother's day as I did!  HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY EVERYONE!!

ROCK OF AGES AT THE VENETIAN

The second night was by far the best night we have ever had in Vegas. We had dinner at the amazing Wynn buffet and then went to the Venetian to see Rock of Ages. When we got to the theater, they asked if we wanted to be upgraded to front row center because they were trying to fill the seats. Of course we accepted!! Dave and I LOVE 80s rock music and the show couldn't have been better. We had such a fun time in Vegas but also couldn't wait to see our special little lady back home. See you next time, Vegas. We'll be back!!

BRITNEY SPEARS: PIECE OF ME AT PLANET HOLLYWOOD

Dave and I decided to take a quick trip to Vegas and couldn't have had a better time!! We stayed at the Mirage and had a great view of the volcano and strip. We walked around the casinos during the day, gambled, shopped, ate at buffets and saw some great shows. The first night we saw Britney at Planet Hollywood. She performed her greatest hits and it was awesome to see her live. Here are some pics of Dave and I at the show:

PUMP IT UP FOR GRIFFIN'S BIRTHDAY PARTY

My mom, dad, Sky and I headed down to Harrisonburg, VA for Griffin's birthday party at Pump It Up.  Before the party, we stopped by my Grubie's house to say hello and then we headed over to the party.  Skylar had an absolute blast because Pump It Up was basically a bouncy house on steroids.  They had a huge slide and obstacle courses.  I think I had as much fun as the little one did.  After the kids played for a bit, they moved us to the party room where we had pizza and ninja turtle cookies.  It was such a great birthday party and even better to spend the day with family.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GRIFFIN!!
