NEW YEAR'S EVE!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!! We couldn't do our normal trip to Atlantic City this year because of a very special new addition in our life, but we still had a blast on New Year's Eve. We went to a restaurant on the water called Hemingways and had such a nice meal. We set our little one right next to the fireplace so she would be nice and cozy (and asleep) for our dinner. After dinner, we picked up some dessert from Cheesecake Factory and watched the festivities play out on TV. We hope everyone's New Year's was a memorable one!!!

SKYLAR'S FIRST CHRISTMAS!!

This Christmas was so exciting for us because it was our baby's first Christmas. Grant it, she is only 3 months old and doesn't really know what's going on, but it's still our little lady's first Christmas!!! We began the day by heading to my parent's house to exchange gifts with them. We got a lot of really nice gift cards and little outfits for the baby. Then, we ventured down to Harrisonburg, VA to see my grandma, aunts, uncles, and cousins. You've gotta love the holiday season because it's all about family.

So, my parent's got Skylar her very first Winnie the Pooh and we were having a bit of a hard time distinguishing which one was the stuffed animal. You be the judge. :-) SO HUGGABLE!!

The baby was PASSED OUT from all the excitement from the day. It gave mommy a good chance to enjoy her Christmas meal.

CHRISTMAS EVE

Dave and I introduced baby Sky to Annie's for our annual Christmas Eve dinner. The food is always amazing and the decor is so festive. Skylar was such a good little girl throughout the meal and slept like a little angel (see evidence below). We had cream of crab soup, crab imperial, steak and then went home to open presents. It was such a nice, low-ley evening. Here are some pictures from the night:

TIMBUKTU FOR CHRISTMAS LUNCH

We met my parents and Great Aunt Millie for lunch at Timbuktu. It's an annual tradition for us to meet, chat, and feast on jumbo crab cakes.

BAHR FAMILY CHRISTMAS

It's that time of year again for the annual Bahr family Christmas!! Matt and Stacey were gracious enough to host this year for the whole family and they were wonderful hosts as usual. This was a very special Bahr family Christmas because it was the first for baby Skylar, Ransom, and Sally. Below are some pictures from the memorable day:

Christmas babies: (From left) Sally, Ransom, and Skylar - I can't wait for the little ones to grow up together!!!
Mommy, Daddy, and Baby Skylar - We tried to bring the baby in holiday attire, but Skylar was NOT HAPPY in her Christmas dress and had an "incident" in her Christmas onesie so thank goodness we came prepared with an extra outfit. Too much excitement for baby Sky - she was OUT!!

PICTURES FOR MOMMY

This is a special post just for mommy. Today is the last day of my maternity leave (insert sad face) so I need some pictures to make me smile while I am at work away from my little one. Even though I'm sure I will have a bit of separation anxiety from my baby, she will be in great hands with her daddy for a few weeks. Here are a few of the million pictures I took of my sweetie pie on my phone:
