Skylar and I had lunch with Auntie Melissa on Saturday because she is accepting a new position in Texas. (insert sad face)  Even though I am super sad she is leaving, I know this will be a great opportunity for her!  I love ya, Meliss and I wish you the best of luck in Texas!  I know you will thrive!!!

SKINS VS. PANTHERS

My parents were gracious enough to watch baby Skylar so Dave and I could go to our first Redskins game of the season.  The Skins played the Panthers and were not successful in bringing a victory to the fans in Fed Ex field!!  Even though the Skins lost, we still had a fun time tailgating, watching the game, and enjoying our mommy/daddy date. :-)

Skylar was a ladybug this year for Halloween and we decided to take her to Annapolis Mall for trick-or-treating.  They were having a Halloween Spooktacular event for the little kids where they could trick-or-treat from store to store.  Skylar had a blast in her costume running around the mall.  Here are a few pictures from the fun evening!!!

SALLY'S BIRTHDAY

We had such a nice time at the Baltimore Bahr's this past weekend to celebrate Sally's 1st birthday and Mama Bahr's birthday.  I can't  believe all the little babies are already one!!  Sara prepared a wonderful brunch complete with chocolate chip waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, a casserole, and tons of other yummy foods.  We had such a good day, but definitely missed the St. Mary's County Bahrs.  We can't wait until the whole family can get together very soon!!!

Unfortunately, I was on the losing side of a football bet today.  I made a bet that the Redskins would beat the Giants and was not so successful.  The loser had to make the opposing team's cupcakes and wear their team colors!!  It's a sad day in Washington, DC!!!

PUMPKIN PATCH

Dave and I took Skylar to Butler's Orchard, a pumpkin patch in Germantown, MD, this past weekend!  Skylar got to see the animals at the petting zoo, ate some caramel apples, went down the slide, and successfully made it through the twisted pumpkin maze.  The weather was perfect and we had such a fun time.  Here are some pictures from the day:
