Christmas time is here at the Bahr household!!

PLAY DATE WITH THE HESS GIRLS!

Lindsay, Lily, Skylar and I got together at Tysons Corner for a fun-filled, much needed play date.  We let the girls play in the play area, they went on the choo choo train and completed the fun day with some yummy pizza.  Skylar and I had such a fun girls day with the Hess ladies and can't wait to do it again soon!!

HAPPY TURKEY DAY!

YAY - Turkey Day is FINALLY here!  We have waited all year long for a day that is basically dedicated to eating food all day long, watching football, relaxing and ending the evening with some Black Friday shopping since it began early this year.  We were so thankful that Dave was off this year for Thanksgiving so we headed to my mom and dad's house for the big day.  As usual, my mom put on a great spread and we left their house with our bellies full and happy!!  HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE!  We hope you had a wonderful time with family and friends!!

COUNTDOWN TO TURKEY DAY! GOBBLE GOBBLE!

OCEAN CITY FOR THE DAY

Dave, Sky and I took a day trip down to Ocean City to spend some QT with Mama Bahr and Papa Geez for the day.  We began the day by taking a nice, but chilly walk on the boardwalk, Skylar saw some horses and thought the people standing by the water in the distance were.....penguins.  Not sure where she got that from, but it was pretty comical!  LOL.  We stopped by the Doughroller for some pizza and topped it off with some yummy Fisher's popcorn.  We had such a nice time with Mama Bahr and Geez and thank them for a wonderful day!!

HOME SWEET HOME

ROCK AND ROLL LAS VEGAS HALF MARATHON

Dave and I just returned from a quick trip to Vegas so we could run in the Rock and Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon.  It was absolutely amazing to see all the beautiful casino lights while running on the strip.  There were about 30,000 people who participated in the marathon and half marathon so the strip was quite crowded at times, but Dave and I both had a really fun run!!  After the run, we indulged in multiple....yes, you read that correct........multiple buffets!!  We also gambled a bit, did a little shopping and saw Terry Fator's show.  He was the ventriloquist who won America's Got Talent and was pretty amazing. Not only was he comical, but he was able to sing Adele, Aretha Franklin and Elvis without moving his lips AND he sounded just like them.  I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to see a fun Vegas show.  Dave and I had a wonderful trip, but were extremely excited to get back to our favorite little person.  We missed her terribly while we were gone!  Even though Vegas was fun, there is no place like home!!!

VIVI'S 2ND BIRTHDAY

Skylar was so excited to go to Vivian's (Vivi) 2nd birthday party.  Vivian is in Skylar's class at daycare and they have become great little buddies over the past two years!  Vivi had her birthday party at My Gym in Annapolis and it was such a good idea for kids!  They had a ball pit, balance beam, monkey bars and tons of room for the kids to run free.  The best part of the party had to be the zip line into the ball pit at the end.  Skylar loved it!!!  Here are a few pics:
