One of the highlights of our trip was by far the Kansas City Zoo. There was so much to see that it took us 4 hours to walk around the entire zoo. We agreed that this was the best zoo we had ever been to. It was clean, had tons of exhibits and everything looked new! Here are some pictures from the fun day:

| Kangaroos on the loose - We were walking along the path in Australia and came face to face with a kangaroo and a joey in its belly. We were a bit caught off guard for a moment, but later realized the kangaroos were free to roam the area. That was definitely something we had not experienced before, but really cool to see! |
