POOL AND SHOPPING DAY

Dave coming down the waterslide

This is one of my favorite pictures of Dave coming down the slide. He's having so much fun like a little boy.
Me on the trolley day dreaming of the shops
Just a few of the shops RIGHT BY our hotel in Waikiki. Dior, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Gucci, and Hermes. OH DEAR - What is a girl to do?The answer to the question above is to BUY SOMETHING!! That's what a girl is to do. UH OH - I caved!
Look who I found passed out on the bed. Looks like he had enough of the shopping excursions for one day!

NUUANU PALI STATE PARK

Dave and I rented a car for the day to explore Oahu on our own and we found some amazing scenic roads and sights. The pictures really don't do these places justice.

Random shot of a plethora of chickens running around. We had to take the picture quick because they were sprinting towards our car. Wouldn't that be a great story on the local news. Headlines would read: "Maryland couple gets attacked by chickens in Oahu."

CHINAMAN'S HAT

Next stop on the roadtrip was Chinaman's hat. It was a random rock in the middle of the ocean that took the shape of a Chinaman's hat.........hence the name.

LANILOA

Laniloa was by far the most beautiful place I've ever seen. There were mountains on one side and turquoise water on the other.

NORTH SHORE

Sunbathing at the North Shore

Dave getting ready to snorkel Dave wrote my name in the sand and snapped a pic so I had to post it because it was really sweet!
Me attempting to catch some rays on the beach
Dave - Woo hoo
The beach was so beautiful and relaxing and we had it all to ourselves so that made it even better!
On our drive home, we stopped at this stand that sold 100% fresh pineapple juice and it was by far the best I've ever had!

RUMFIRE ON THE WATER FOR DINNER

We ate dinner at the Rum Fire Restaurant in our hotel that was right on the pool and the beach. The weather was perfect as we listened to music and enjoyed the food!
Me pondering what to get for dinner - this is a very important decision, you know.
