'BABYMOON' TO LAS VEGAS

DAY ONE:

We decided to take a trip to Las Vegas for our last horah ('aka' babymoon) before our precious little baby girl arrives. We stayed at the brand new ARIA hotel and were amazed at the beautiful view of the strip and contemporary feel of the room.

After we checked into the room and got settled, we were pretty hungry so we ate dinner at the ARIA Buffet which was delicious! There's no better way to satisfy a pregnant woman than to take her to a buffet!!
After the buffet, we walked around the hotel, played a little bit of craps and then got ready for our evening show!
We saw the comedian, Carrot Top, that night at the Luxor and he was hysterical. He used a lot of props in his stand-up and told a lot of jokes about Vegas that tourists could definitely relate to!
DAY TWO:

We woke up to this gorgeous view of the Las Vegas strip. I definitely could have sat there for hours!

That day, we walked around the amazing casinos on the strip and then shopped a little bit at the Caesar's Forum Shops and Fashion Show Mall.
That evening, we took a taxi down to the Wynn hotel and explored some of the amazing sights at that end of the strip.

Before our show that evening, we had dinner at the Grand Luxe Cafe at the Venetian Hotel. This place was very similiar to the Cheesecake Factory

After dinner, we got tickets to see Blue Man Group at the Venetian hotel. We sat in the 4th row so we were required to wear ponchos during the show so we wouldn't get paint on our clothes. Luckily, we left the show free and clear of any paint stains. :-)

After the show, we were lucky enough to get a picture with one of the members of the Blue Man Group.

DAY THREE:

Me in front of the ARIA Hotel and lunch at CABO WABOLater that day, Dave and I ventured down to Freemont Street to see what old Vegas was like.
That evening, we ate dinner at our favorite buffet at Mandalay Bay, saw the Cirque du Soleil production of 'KA' at MGM Grand, and then gambled some more. Dave and I in front of 'KA' TheatreAs usual, we had an amazing time in Vegas and can't wait to go back again - this time with the little one!!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Mother's Day was a lot of fun this year because we drove across the Bay Bridge and had a nice lunch at Harris' Crabhouse. The weather was amazing and it was the perfect day to spend time with family. It's so exciting to think that this time next year, I will be a mommy myself. I am officially 5 months so only 4 more months to go. We can't wait!

WE'RE HAVING A GIRL

Dave and I went to our maternal fetal medicine appointment today and found out we are going to have a baby girl. The doctor said she was about 6 - 8 inches long and weighed about 10 ounces. He said she looks to be developing into a healthy baby. Here are a few pictures of our soon to be baby girl.

We are so excited about the soon to be baby girl and feel so blessed that she seems to be healthy up to this point. Thanks for sharing this with us!

HAPPY EASTER!

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE! Dave and I were invited to spend Easter with Matt, Stacey, Blake, Josie, and Stacey's parents, Tom and Marilyn. We had ham, rolls, macaroni and cheese, asparagus, and Stacey made the best carrot cake! It was so much fun to spend time with family and see the girls!

It is such an exciting time for the Bahr family right now because Stacey, Sara and I are all pregnant at the same time! Stacey is due at the beginning of September, I'm due September 22, and Sara is due in October! Matt and Stacey just found out they will be having a baby boy so we are so happy for them. Here are a few belly shots of Stacey and I: Isn't she just the cutest little thing?

16 WEEKS (4 MONTHS)

Hey Everyone - just wanted to let you know that I had my 16 week appointment today and the baby seems to be doing just fine. We heard the little heartbeat and the doctor took my expanding weight and measurements to ensure the baby was growing properly. Stay tuned for May 2 - that is when we find out if we're having a baby Amber or baby Dave. :-) Which sex will God bless us with?

NANO'S IN ANNAPOLIS

I just had a great day today with my Aunt Nancy at the Annapolis harbor. We had lunch at Nano's, where my cousin Karyle works, and then walked the harbor and had some yummy cupcakes from Nostalgia. Below is a picture of me, my cousin Karyle, and Aunt Nancy at Nano's.

ATLANTIC CITY!!!

We took the bus trip to Atlantic City today with Adam and Jen and couldn't have asked for a better day. We arrived at Trump Plaza around 11:30, played some blackjack, and then had lunch at Longhorn Steakhouse. After that, we gorged on some candy from 'It's Sugar' and then played a little more craps and blackjack. We had such a good time in AC and can't wait until our Vegas trip in May!

STEAKHOUSE FOR DAD'S BIRTHDAY

My dad turned the big 5-8 on March 11 so we celebrated by taking him to the Steakhouse in Annapolis for lunch. Then, we came back to the house so they could visit their grandog! He is by far the most spoiled dog around!

WOODBURY KITCHEN IN BALTIMORE

This past Saturday, Dave and I drove up to Baltimore to visit Doug, Sara, Charlie, and Alice. We went to a cute little restaurant for brunch called Woodbury Kitchen and got to spend some quality time with the family.

12 WEEKS (3 MONTHS)

Today was a super exciting day for Dave and I because we had our first OB appointment. The doctor confirmed that I was officially 12 weeks pregnant and we were able to see the little baby on the ultrasound and hear his/her heartbeat. Luckily, the doctor said she only saw ONE baby and not twins. Wouldn't that have been something? :-) It is such an exciting time for us and we are excited to share it with you. FAMILY DAY!

Dave and I ventured down to St. Mary's County this past weekend to visit our incredibly sweet nieces! We ate at our favorite Mexican restaurant and had an absolute blast with Matt, Stacey, and the girls. We always have such a good time with them. Here are some pictures from the visit:

Lunch with one of my best buddies, Melissa, at Don Pablos. I hadn't seen her in quite some time so it was great spending time together.

It had been way too long since I'd seen my lovely girlies, Pam and Lindsay, so we decided to have a girls day at Tyson's Corner. We dined at Coastal Flats, which was delicious, and did what we do best - SHOPPED!! The day was so much fun and we definitely have to get together more often. Love you, girls!
