NATIONAL ZOO
Sky absolutely LOVES going to the zoo to see all of the animals so we try and take her every change we get. She got such a thrill seeing the big turtles, the gorillas, the panda bears, the zebras, elephants and she even got to see the baby lion cubs. Here are some pics from the day:

BBQ AT MY AUNT KIM AND UNCLE DAVE'S HOUSE
Later that night, my Aunt Kim and Uncle Dave hosted a bbq at their house on base! Their house could not have been more stunning! The front of the house faces the golf course and the back of the house backs up to the water. Kim and Dave could not be more deserving of such a beautiful place and we are so happy for them!! Here is a pic of Dave and I in their backyard. Could you imagine watching those sunsets every night?
CHANGE OF COMMAND CEREMONY
Dave and I headed down to Camp Lejeune, NC. (sans the little one) to attend my Uncle Dave's Change of Command Ceremony. My Uncle Dave is currently a Major General and he was assuming command of the 2nd Expeditionary Force. We are so proud of my Uncle Dave and the ceremony couldn't have honored him better!! Congratulations, Uncle Dave! We appreciate all you do!! Here are a few pics of Dave and I at the ceremony:

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!
Sky, Dave and I headed down to the Annapolis Harbor this year to celebrate the 4th of July. We had dinner at the MarketPlace and then Dave and Sky got ice cream while I indulged my sweet tooth with a chocolate covered twinkie. Ah - heaven!! We hope everyone had a wonderful Independence Day!!
