OBX FAMILY VACATION!

We just got back from our annual trip to Rodanthe, NC with my mom and dad!  We opted to go a little earlier than usual this year so we could get more bang for our buck on the beach house.  We had a beach house near the pier with a view of the ocean and a pool.  It was so nice and relaxing being able to wake up to the beautful views every morning of the ocean and the sound.  We had such a nice time on our trip!  Here are some pictures from the vacay:

We were lucky enough to see the beautiful sunrise every morning thanks to our little baby alarm clock who woke up at 5:00. :-)

Skylar and I had so much fun at dinner with my Aunt Nancy this Saturday.  The night was filled with great conversations and great food!!  Let's do it again soon!!

2013 WARRIOR DASH!!

The Bahr ladies stayed home for the Warrior Dash this year so we missed out on seeing the boys run in their green tuxedos and Geez in his James Bond attire.  I'm sure that was quite the show for all of the spectators.  :-)  Luckily, Dave had a video camera taped to his tophat so we will be able to watch the entire race on film!!  It looks like the boys had a blast!!  The Bahr ladies really missed out on the show!!

HAPPY MAMA'S DAY!!

This Mother's day, Sparky and I took my mom and dad to Harris' Crab house for lunch since Dave had to work!!  The weather was beautiful and Skylar loved sitting near the water watching the duckies!!  I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful mother and am so lucky to be a mommy to the best little girl in the world.  HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY MOM!!

SURPRISE MOTHER'S DAY DINNER!

I truly am blessed to have the best husband ever!!  Skylar and I arrived home on Friday afternoon and all of a sudden, Mama Bahr and Papa Geez appeared on our doorstep.  I was delighted to see them, but was confused because I had no idea they were coming.  Then, Dave told me he had them drive up so they could watch baby Sky so he could take me to a nice dinner at the Melting Pot for Mother's Day since he had to work on Sunday.  He and Skylar gave me a nice little gift card to the mall (my fave) and the Melting Pot was amazing as usual.  A special thank you to Mama Bahr and Papa Geez for coming up to spend time with Sparky!!  I appreciate it so much and I know she enjoyed spending time with you guys!! You guys are the best!!
