"TITANO BOA"

Dave, Baby Sky, and I took a day trip down to Washington D.C for the day to visit the Natural History Museum and walk around the National Mall.  A co-worker of mine had been telling me all about the "monstrous snake" at the Natural History Museum so I was a bit intrigued.  As everyone knows, I am terrified of snakes, but this exhibit really peaked my curiosity so I wanted to check it out with the family.

Skylar and I in front the the of "TITANO BOA" exhibit at the Natural History Museum.  You can see the reluctancy in my face, but I had to get a picture to prove I was able to face my fear and view this exhibit.  All I know about this snake was that it's the biggest snake in the world and the remains were found in the mines of Peru.  I'm sure there were additional details, but I kind of wanted to get in and get out REALLY QUICK. :-/

After the museum, we headed  to the National Mall to walk around and indulge in a Nathan's hot dog and fries.  The view was great and the weather was incredible!  It was a PERFECT family day!





OCEAN CITY HALF MARATHON

Dave, Doug, and I participated in our second Ocean City Half Marathon in Ocean City, MD.  We had a blast and all accomplished our goals of beating our times from the first Ocean City Half Marathon.  Dave's official chip time was 1 hour and 46 minutes and Doug and I tied at an official chip time of 1 hour and 59 minutes.  Dave and I beat our time by 1 minute and Doug beat his time by about 30 minutes!! GOOD JOB, BOYS!!  The hard work paid off!!

SKYLAR'S FIRST EASTER!

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE! This was Skylar's first Easter and we drove over the bridge with my parents and Aunt Millie to one of our favorite seafood restaurants, Harris' Crab House. Skylar got dressed up in her Easter outfit and was even paid a visit by the Easter bunny. We hope everyone had a wonderful day!!

BAHR FAMILY EASTER!

We drove down to Ocean City today to spend Easter with the Bahr family! Skylar got to see her grandparents, aunt, unlce, and cousins! We had an Easter ham and then dressed the kiddies up in their Easter outfits to head over to the Ocean City Convention Center for the Easter festivities. Here are some pictures from the day:

T-R-O-U-B-L-E

So, most moms are well aware that the crib is a "safe haven" for their babies when mommy's need to set their little one down to fold laundry or do other household chores. Well........ I was folding laundry this evening and happened to glance over and saw a little baby head popping over the crib. My sweet little 6 month old had managed to grab onto the railing and pull herself up so she could "see" what mommy was up to. It looks like we are going to have to lower the crib............................T-R-O-U-B-L-E!
