WELCOME SKYLAR PAIGE BAHR

Dave and I are so incredibly overjoyed to welcome our new baby girl to this world. She was born at 9:13 am on Monday, September 26, 2011 weighing in at 7 lbs 15 ounces and 19 inches long. We never could have imagined loving something so much and are so blessed to have her in our lives. Here are a few pictures from the past few days.

I absolutely loved these next two photos of daddy and baby sleeping peacefully on our first day home from the hospital. I think we know who already has daddy wrapped around their finger. Dave took these pictures of me and the baby in the hospital. It had been a long night so we were both pretty exhausted. The long nights are definitely worth it though!!! She is the best thing that has ever happened to us!

2 DAYS PAST DUE DATE

STILL NO BABY.................:-(

DUE DATE!

Hey folks..............well, my due date has arrived, but the little lady doesn't seem to want to enter this world quite yet. I went to the doctor today and she said I was about 2 1/2 cm dilated and about 80% effaced which is progress. If I don't deliver by October 3, the doctor is going to induce me because they don't like to go a week or two past my due date. My preference is definitely for her to come on her own so hopefully she will make an appearance soon. We are looking forward to it!

TUNNEL RUN

Dave and I headed up to Baltimore this morning for the Ft. McHenry 5k Tunnel Run. Dave finished the race in about 22 min and 40 seconds and I was so proud of my hubby!! Here are some pictures from the race:

39 WEEK APPOINTMENT

I had my 39 week appointment and I am still 2 cm dilated, 50% effaced, and the little baby's head is still in position so we'll see what happens. Stay tuned................1 more week until my due date!

38 WEEK APPOINTMENT

Hey everyone.....we had our 38 week appointment today and the doctor said I was officially 2 cm dilated. That is exciting news because it looks like her arrival is right around the corner. We are looking forward to it.

WELCOME RANSOM JAMES!

CONGRATULATIONS to Matt and Stacey who welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Ransom James Bahr, on August 30, 2011. Dave and I drove down to see the little guy on Saturday and he was just as handsome as we thought he would be!! We are so excited to have a new nephew! CONGRATULATIONS Matt and Stacey! We love you guys!
